ABOUT THE AREA PDF Print E-mail

Our centre is located in small village of Niedrzwica near Goldap town. Goldap is a recreational and tourist destination located between Szeski Hump and Romnicka Primeval Forrest by the Goldapa River near Russian border. Five nature reserves with unique flora and fauna are part of the region. Goldap is famous for it's natural environment and landscape and it is one of the most attractive regions in Poland.

Tourists attractions such as safari park, water tower built in 1905, cycle routes, Lomnicka Primeval Forest with educational paths and railway bridges in Stanczyki (around 35 meters high) are located in the area. In Rapa near Banie Mazurskie the Tomb of the Farenheids family is situated which was built in the beginning of the nineteenth century. The monument has a structure of a pyramid and it is very popular among tourists. In suburban Kumiecie forest complex German bunkers are located which are the remains of the Luftwaffe Quarter from the World War II period.

Each seasons has something great to offer. Spring is an excellent time to admire the awakening beautiful nature, in summer you can relax on the beach or enjoy blueberry picking while in winter the Beautiful Mountain is a fantastic place for skiing (ski lifts facilities are available).
